Sea 2 Summit

Redkite Sea 2 Summit challenge

The Sea 2 Summit challenge is arguably Australia's toughest and most rewarding single day cycling event. Participants have described it as life changing.

Its demanding route takes riders through breathtaking landscapes and finishes on the summit of Mount Kosciuszko. Sea 2 Summit gives cyclists the chance to achieve the extraordinary: to complete this challenging ride and at the same time support children and young people with cancer.

2011 Sea 2 Summit update

The 2011 Sea 2 Summit challenge took place on the Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November. 37 riders and 29 volunteers took part in this amazing event. Riders battled 40km head winds across the Manaro Plains as well as storms and rain while riding up the Snowy Mountains. Greeted by cheers and huge congratulations, 29 out of the 37 riders finished at the top of Charlottes Pass before sunset.

The next Redkite Sea 2 Summit Challenge has been tentatively scheduled for November 2012. To register your interest either as a rider or a volunteer, please complete an expression of interest form and return to events@redkite.org.au.
