Coles & Redkite – together changing the face of cancer care across Australia

It’s impossible not to be inspired by the passion and creativity of Coles team members and customers who support children facing cancer and their families. From selling specially marked loaves of Coles Own Brand bread and hot cross buns to in-store challenges, fundraising, fun runs and even shaving their heads, Coles are an integral part of the Redkite support team for families.

More than just a loaf of bread!

Your humble sandwich or piece of toast takes on a new meaning when you’re shopping at Coles. Thanks to Coles and Coles Express, 5c from the sale of every loaf of specially marked Coles Own Brand bread is donated to Redkite and supports children facing cancer.

Celebrating the success of Bread!

Every sandwich tells a story in Redkite’s For the Love of Bread ebook which features 23 feel-good sandwich recipes with contributions from families who have received Redkite’s support as well sandwich favourites from a few famous faces!

How you have supported

Throughout our partnership, Coles and their customers have provided tremendous support for Redkite families over the past nine years. Along with purchasing Coles Own Brand bread, customers have supported families by purchasing specially marked packs of Coles Own Brand Hot Cross Buns and Gingerbread Men ensuring Redkite provides support to families throughout the year and beyond.

Dare to Dream

Coles’ commitment to young people goes well beyond their stores, through the Dare to Dream scholarship young people can apply for a scholarship to support their dreams and goals. This scholarship, funded by Coles, helps young people build their future. The possibilities that Dare to Dream creates for Australia’s young cancer patients are life changing.

Together, Redkite and Coles have awarded 257 scholarships since 2013 worth over $570,000.
